Ignition circuit cut-off system INSTRUMENT AND CONTROL FUNCTIONS EAU45051 EAU1044D Ignition circuit cut-off system The ignition circuit cut-off system (comprising the sidestand switch and brake light switches) has the following functions. 8 It prevents star ting when the sidestand is up, but neither brake is applied. 8 It prevents starting when either brake is applied, but the sidestand is still down. 8 It cuts the running engine when the sidestand is moved down.
