Make sure that the drive guard is tightened securely before operating the snowmobile to protect against severe injury or death from a broken V-belt or other part should it come off the snowmobile while it is in operation. To check the V-belt
1.

left side cover (PZ50VT). (See page 48

Remove the drive guard.
