PERIODIC MAINTENANCE AND ADJUSTMENT 1. Do not touch the glass part of the bulb. 1. Coupler 1. Headlight bulb holder cover Removing the headlight unit 1. Remove the windshield. (See page 4-16.) 2. Remove the headlight body cover by removing the bolts. 7 4. Remove the headlight unit by removing the screws. 2. Disconnect the headlight coupler, and then unhook the headlight bulb holder. 1. Screw 1. Bolt 2. Headlight body cover 3. Disconnect the coupler shown. To replace the high beam headlight bulb 1. Remove the headlight bulb holder cover by turning it counterclockwise. 7-27 1. Removing the headlight unit
1. Remove the windshield. (See
page 4-16.)
2.
Remove the headlight body cover
by removing the bolts.
3.
Disconnect the coupler shown.
4. Remove the headlight unit by re-
moving the screws.
To replace the high beam headlight
bulb
1.
Remove the headlight bulb holder
cover by turning it counterclock-
wise.
2.
Disconnect the headlight coupler,
and then unhook the headlight
bulb holder.
3.
Remove the burnt-out bulb.
