PERIODIC MAINTENANCE AND ADJUSTMENT EAU21423 EWA10511 Tires (For cast wheel models) To ensure maximum performance, long service, and safe operation, note the following: Tire air pressure Always check and adjust the tire pressure before operating the motorcycle. EWA11011 WARNING Operation of this vehicle with improper tire pressure may cause severe injury or death from loss of control. Tire inflation pressure should be checked and adjusted when the temperature of the tire equals the ambient air temperature. If a tire tread shows crosswise line (minimum tread depth), if the tire has a nail or glass fragments in it, or if the sidewall is cracked, contact a Yamaha dealer immediately and have the tire replaced. 7-20
