There is no need to check the electrolyte or to add distilled water. However, the battery lead connections need to be checked and, if necessary, tightened. NOTICE Do not try to remove the sealing caps of the battery cells. You may damage the battery. 8-46

Battery
This model is equipped with a VRLA (Valve

need to check the electrolyte or to add distilled
water. However, the battery lead connections
need to be checked and, if necessary, tight-
ened.
NOTICE
Do not try to remove the sealing caps of
the battery cells. You may damage the bat-
tery.
