EBU09631 Adjusting the rear brake lever and brake pedal Adjusting the rear brake lever The rear brake lever free play should be 0.5- 2.0 mm (0.02-0.08 in). 1. Loosen the locknut. If correct free play cannot be obtained, ask a Yamaha dealer to make that adjustment. NOTE: When adjusting the rear brake lever free play: G Be sure not to step on the brake pedal. Adjusting the rear brake lever
The rear brake lever free play should be 0.5–
2.0 mm (0.02–0.08 in).

Loosen the locknut.

Turn the adjusting bolt in direction

increase free play, and in direction

decrease free play.
3.
Tighten the locknut.
