7. Inspect the air filter element. If damaged, replace it. 8. Apply Yamaha foam air filter oil or other quality foam air filter oil to the air filter element. q NOTE: The air filter element should be wet but not dripping. 9. Install the air filter element on the frame. 10. Install the air filter element into the air filter case. 1. Washer cC Install the washer with the bent edge facing upward as shown. 11. Install the air filter case cover by installing the screws. 12. Tighten the clamp screw, and then install the breather hose. 13. Install the seat. 8-13
