Chassis preparation 1. Block up the frame to raise all wheels off the ground. 2. Clean exterior of the utility vehicle and apply a rust inhibitor. 3. Cover the utility vehicle with a breathable cover and store it in a dry, well-ventilated area. Battery preparation 1. Remove the battery from the utility vehicle and store it in a cool, dry place that stays between 0 °C (32 °F) and 30 °C (90 °F). 2. Have the battery recharged every 60-90 days to keep it fully charged. The battery must be kept fully charged to avoid damage. NOTE: Batteries like the one supplied with your vehicle normally do not require you to check the water level inside the battery for the one year warranty period provided by the manufacturer. 9-2
