EBU11011 WARNING POTENTIAL HAZARD Failure to inspect the ATV before operating. Failure to properly maintain the ATV. WHAT CAN HAPPEN Increases the possibility of an accident or equipment damage. HOW TO AVOID THE HAZARD Always inspect your ATV each time you use it to make sure the ATV is in safe operating condition. Always follow the inspection and maintenance procedures and schedules described in the Owner's Manual. Front and rear brakes Brake levers and brake pedal G Check that there is no free play in the front brake lever. If there is free play, have a Yamaha dealer adjust it. G Check for correct free play in the rear brake lever. If the free play is incorrect, adjust it. (See page 8-42.) G Check for correct brake pedal height. If the pedal height is incorrect, have a Yamaha dealer adjust it. G Check the operation of the brake levers and pedal. They should move smoothly and there should be a firm feeling when the brakes are applied. If not, have a Yamaha dealer inspect the brake system. Brake fluid level Check the brake fluid level.
