EBU11492 Front brake lever free play adjustment NOTE: Before adjusting the brake lever free play, inspect the front brake shoes. The front brake lever free play should be adjusted to 5-8 mm (0.2-0.3 in) at the brake lever pivot. If the free play is incorrect, adjust it as follows. 1. Remove the front cover by removing the screws and bolts. (See page 8-14 for removal and installation procedures.) 2. Remove the V-belt air filter element cover. Front brake lever free play adjustment
NOTE:
Before adjusting the brake lever free play,
inspect the front brake shoes.
The front brake lever free play should be adjust-
ed to 5–8 mm (0.2–0.3 in) at the brake lever
pivot. If the free play is incorrect, adjust it as fol-
lows.
1. Remove the front cover by removing the
