IQ Front Suspension Adjustments Standard Shocks THE PERFECT FIT The tension at which the shock coil spring is set is called spring preload. For the best ride, the suspension should be adjusted to use the full travel of the shocks with occasional light bottoming. OPERATION Fuel Safety WARNING Gasoline is highly flammable and explosive under certain conditions. Always exercise extreme caution whenever handling gasoline. Fuel OPERATION For peak performance, Polaris recommends the use of 91 octane or higher fuel. Although 87 octane fuel is usable, some engine performance will be lost and fuel economy will decrease. OPERATION Oil n Low Oil Indicator Light The low oil indicator light will alert the operator if the oil level is low. Visually check for oil in the bottle. Electronic Reverse (PERCt) Engaging Reverse 1. Stop the snowmobile and leave the engine idling. 2. Make sure the area behind your snowmobile is clear. 3. MAINTENANCE Lubrication Driveshaft Bearing Inject grease into the fitting on the speedometer sensor housing until grease purges from the seal on the inside of the tunnel.
