For properprotection when the vehicle is in motion, have the seatback upright. Then sit well back in the seat and wear your safety beltproperly. You can fold the rear seatback downfor more cargo space. The latch is in the upper center of the rear of the seatback. To lower the seatback, push it forward as you pull up on the latch. To raise it, lift the seatback and push it back until it locks in the upright position. Test to see thatit is locked in place by pushing and pulling theseatback.
