Event Data Recorder In common with many other vehicle manufacturers, Kawasaki has equipped this motorcycle with an event data recorder (EDR). The purpose of this device is to record data, only in an accident situation, that assists with understanding of how a vehicle's systems were performing during a short period of time immediately before and during an accident (event). ○The upper hexagonal area (locknut) has left hand threads.
