30 GENERAL INFORMATION : When the headlight is on high beam, the high beam indicator light goes on. : When the turn signal switch is pushed to the left or right, the corresponding turn signal indicator light blinks. : The oil pressure warning light goes on whenever the oil pressure is dangerously low or the ignition key is in the ON position with the engine not running, and goes off when the engine oil pressure is high enough. Refer to the Maintenance and Adjustment chapter for more detailed engine oil information. : The fuel injection (FI) warning indicator light goes on when the ignition switch is turned to "ON" and goes off soon after ensuring that its circuit functions properly. The warning indicator light also goes on whenever the troubles occur in digital fuel injection system (DFI). If the warning indicator light goes on, have the DFI system checked by an authorized Kawasaki dealer. When the warning indicator light blinks, first turn the ignition key to "OFF" and then back to "ON". : The water temperature warning indicator light goes on whenever the water temperature rises to about 119°C (246°F) when the motorcycle is in operation. This warns the operator that the water temperature is too high. If the warning indicator light goes on, stop the engine and check the coolant level in the reserve tank after the engine cools down.
