Main Menu Table Of Contents Parking Brake, Mirrors Mirrors Driving the vehicle with the parking brake applied can damage the rear brakes and hubs. A beeper will sound if the vehicle is driven with the parking brake on. On models with navigation system TAB If equipped The rear view mirror has a compass function to indicate the vehicle's direction. Refer to Compass on page 210 . Instruments and Controls You will also see a ''RELEASE PARKING BRAKE'' message on the multi-information display (see page 90 ). Keep the inside and outside mirrors clean and adjusted for best visibility. Be sure to adjust the mirrors before you start driving. The inside mirror has day and night positions. The night position reduces glare from headlights behind you. Flip the tab on the bottom edge of the mirror to select the day or night position. CONTINUED 133 2009 Ridgeline
