Electrochromic Mirror (Option) Automatidoff Switch There is an automatic and an position. Whenthe off button onthe bottom of the mirroris pressed up and has a green halo,the mirror is on automatic. Press againto turn O : B , " Time Delay The mirror delays~ before changing from the night to the day position. This delay prevents rapid changing of the mirfof as you drive under lights and through traffic. Reverse Gear Day Mode The reverse modeis another important feature the of automatic mirror. When the shift is placed in lever REVERSE (R), the mirror shifts to the day mode. This gives you a brightimage in the mirror as you back up. Your Buick may havean automatic inside mirror. The automatic mirror adjusts the glare of headlamps for behind you. It detects changesin light, and then adjusts for day or night operation. During the day the mirror reflectsall the light from behind your vehicle. At night, when the glare is too high, it changes to the night mode. Then, reflects only it part of the light from behind you. Whenthe mirror changes to the night mode, holds that position until it glare is no longer present. Front Reading Lamps There are two reading larnps located on rearview the mirror. Press the switch closest to the lamp t r it on to n u or off.
