16. Troubleshooting 16.2 Error Message Error message No or bad signal The channel is scrambled or not available. The audio is not available. No access No card inserted. Incorrect card Possible causes The cable is not connected. The cable may be damaged or defective. The channel is not broadcasting. The channel has signal, but no video. The channel is deleted by the broadcasting company. The channel is for data broadcasting. The channel has signal, but no audio. No subscription to this channel. No authorization. Smartcard is not inserted. What to do Make sure the cable is connected correctly. Exchange the cable. Confirm if the channel is currently on air. Press the Opt button to confirm if the channel has audio. Make sure you are subscribed to the channel. If the product has been turned off for a long time (standby or power off), please wait for authorization. It may take up to 60 minutes. Insert Smartcard. Wrong Smartcard is inserted. Smartcard is not inserted correctly. Smartcard is broken. Insert appropriate Smartcard. Pull out the Smartcard and reinsert it. Replace the Smartcard. GB 85
