I Il sistema immobilizer Per aumentare la protezione contro il furto, il motociclo è dotato di un sistema elettronico di blocco del motore (IMMOBILIZER) che si attiva automaticamente ogni volta che si spegne il quadro. I Leva comando starter (fig. 8) Il comando starter (1) serve per agevolare la partenza a freddo del motore e innalzare il regime di rotazione minimo, dopo l'avviamento. Manopola girevole comando acceleratore (fig. 9.1 e 9.2) La manopola girevole (4), sul lato destro del manubrio, comanda l'apertura delle valvole del corpo farfallato (900). I Pedale comando freno posteriore (fig. 10) Per azionare il freno posteriore, premere il pedale (1) verso il basso con il piede. Il sistema di comando è di tipo idraulico. Tappo serbatoio carburante (fig. 13) Apertura Sollevare il coperchietto (1) di protezione ed inserire la chiave nella serratura. Ruotare di 1/4 di giro la chiave in senso orario per sbloccare la serratura. Sollevare il tappo. Serratura sella e portacasco I Apertura Introdurre la chiave nella serratura, ruotarla in senso orario per ottenere lo sganciamento della sella dal telaio. Cavalletto laterale (fig. 15) Importante Prima d'azionare il cavalletto laterale accertarsi dell'adeguata consistenza e planarità della superficie d'appoggio. I Registri regolazione ammortizzatore posteriore (fig. 16) L'ammortizzatore posteriore è dotato di registri esterni che permettono d'adeguare l'assetto della moto alle condizioni di carico. Registri di regolazione forcella anteriore La forcella del motociclo 900 è regolabile sia nella fase di estensione (ritorno) sia nella compressione degli steli. I 900 Per modificare il precarico della molla interna ad ogni stelo ruotate il registro ad estremità esagonale (2) con una chiave esagonale di 22 mm. Il valore del precarico (A) può variare tra 25 e 10 mm. La taratura originale corrisponde a 18 mm. Avviamento motore I Note Per avviare il motore già caldo seguite la procedura descritta per "Temperatura ambiente alta". Temperatura ambiente alta (oltre i 35 °C): Eseguire la stessa procedura senza utilizzare il comando starter. Arresto del motociclo Ridurre la velocità, scalare di marcia e rilasciare la manopola dell'acceleratore. Scalare fino ad inserire la prima e successivamente la folle. I Parcheggio Parcheggiare il motociclo fermo sul cavalletto laterale (vedi pag. 27). Ruotare il manubrio completamente a sinistra e portare la chiave nella posizione LOCK per prevenire i furti. I Lubrificazione delle articolazioni Periodicamente è necessario controllare le condizioni delle guaine esterne dei cavi di comando acceleratore e del cavo comando starter.
